Text to 3D is for the object that does not exist yet. Describe it in a sentence, a carved wooden chess knight, a sci-fi crate with worn paint, a ceramic mug with a cat handle, and Hunyuan 3D Pro builds a textured 3D model from the words alone, with no photo and no modelling software. It is the fastest way to fill a game level, prototype a product idea or make an asset for a scene. When you do have a photo of a real object, image to 3D will hold its exact details better. Export GLB, OBJ, STL or USDZ and open it in AR on a phone.

Questions
Do I need a photo?
No. Hunyuan 3D Pro builds the model from a written description alone, for 11 credits. If you do have a photo, image-to-3D is usually more faithful to the specific object you want.
How detailed is it?
Good enough to drop into a game engine or a scene. For a specific real object, a photo through image-to-3D will hold detail the text route has to invent.
What do I get?
A textured mesh you can download as GLB, OBJ, STL or USDZ, and open in AR on an iPhone.
How do I write a good text to 3D prompt?
Name the object, the material and the style: a low-poly wooden treasure chest with iron bands, for example. One object per prompt works best.
Can I 3D print a model made from text?
Yes. Download it as STL and send it to your slicer.
